Kamyar Moinzadeh

President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Moinzadeh, president and CEO of Airbiquity, manages the Airbiquity executive management team, developing the company's strategy and setting its direction. He has more than 18 years of experience in the wireless industry. Mr. Moinzadeh previously served on Airbiquity's senior management team where he was instrumental in development and delivery of Airbiquity's products into the automotive market. He has also held senior positions at Netro Corporation, AT&T Wireless Services and Motorola. Mr. Moinzadeh was nominated as an Ernst & Young finalist for "Entrepreneur of the Year" in 2006 and was named to the Puget Sound Business Journal's 2008 "40 Under 40" list. Mr. Moinzadeh is also a founder and board member of Opanga Inc., is the author of several patents, and holds a B.Sc. in computer science from Washington State University.

John Atherly

Chief Financial Officer

As Airbiquity's CFO, Mr. Atherly is responsible for all financial and fiscal management aspects of the company's operations. Prior to 2008, he served as CFO for both eMagin Corporation and Click2learn, Inc. Throughout his career, Mr. Atherly has raised more than $200 million in financing for his companies. He has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, having completed transactions with a cumulative value of more than $100 million. In 2004, he completed the merger between Click2learn and their primary competitor Docent, Inc. to form SumTotal Systems, Inc. He holds a B.A. in business administration from the University of Washington.

Leon Hong

Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Hong is responsible for the technical direction and development of Airbiquity and its product offerings. For more than 12 years he has been involved in product development and marketing of various key communications technologies, including 2G and 3G wireless systems, broadband wireless data, wireless radio protocols, IP telephony and networking, access networks, and wireless local loop. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Hong held various senior management and engineering positions developing products in several telecommunications companies, including TruePosition, UTStarcom, RadioFrame Networks, Broadstorm Telecom, AT&T Wireless and Nortel. Mr. Hong holds an M.S. in telecommunications and a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Louisiana.

David Jumpa

Chief Revenue Officer

Mr. Jumpa is responsible for global business development and sales and is credited for starting and leading the execution of Airbiquity's automotive business. He brings to Airbiquity more than 17 years of senior management, business development, sales operations and engineering leadership experience. Mr. Jumpa joined the company in 1999 and left in 2002 to successfully lead the start and eventual acquisition of Vox Technologies, Inc., a speech recognition company. He rejoined Airbiquity in 2005. Mr. Jumpa has held prior positions at Xypoint Corporation and Alltel (now Verizon Wireless), and has also served several other companies in a management or consulting role (TollFree Cellular, Conversay, BSQUARE Corporation and Jampac Technologies). Mr. Jumpa attended DeVry's computer science undergraduate program in Addison, IL.

Jeffry Shelby

General Counsel

Mr. Shelby joined Airbiquity in 2013 and is responsible for legal affairs and compliance for the company. Mr. Shelby brings over 15 years of experience with technology transactions and licensing, intellectual property, M&A, corporate finance, corporate and regulatory matters. Previously, Mr. Shelby was general counsel for Varolii Corporation and an attorney at the national law firms of Heller Ehrman, LLP, Cooley LLP and Bogle & Gates LLP where he represented public and private technology companies in licensing, strategic partnerships, M&A, securities offerings, corporate governance, and general business matters. Prior to law, Jeff worked in management for United Airlines in San Francisco, CA for 5 years. Jeff earned his J.D. from the University of Washington, and an MBA from San Francisco State University.

Yusuf Nahmiyas

Executive Vice President of Corporate Development

Mr. Nahmiyas is responsible for identifying new growth opportunities, leading the evaluation of such opportunities, and assisting the strategic growth of the Company. He has an extensive background in the identification, pursuit and execution of strategic initiatives for emerging high-growth companies as well as mature large enterprises. Mr. Nahmiyas comes to Airbiquity following a 17-year investment banking career with JPMorgan, Deutsche Bank and UBS specializing in the technology, media and telecom (TMT) verticals. He has led an extensive array of merger, acquisition, divestiture, joint venture, minority investment, recapitalization and sale transactions as well as conducting strategic reviews for TMT companies. Most recently, he was co-head of TMT M&A at UBS. Mr. Nahmiyas holds a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago and MBA from Harvard Business School.

Prabuddha Biswas

Vice President of Engineering

Mr. Biswas joined Airbiquity in 2013 and leads the company’s engineering management team. Mr. Biswas brings 30 years of large-scale software technology development and management experience to the firm. Prior to Airbiquity, Mr. Biswas was Senior Vice President of Engineering at Medio Systems, and has held multiple senior management roles at VMWare, Amazon, DEC and Oracle. Mr. Biswas received a B.T. in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi and a M.S. in computer engineering and Ph.D in computer science from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.

Paul Meyer

Vice President, Sales

Mr. Meyer is responsible for Airbiquity's international sales in Asia-Pacific and EMEA. Prior to this position, he was Director of Automotive Sales and spearheaded Airbiquity's global business expansion. For more than 15 years, he has worked to develop global product distribution channels, strategic partnerships and direct sales teams while residing in Europe, Asia and North America and has expertise in the telematics, infotainment, embedded systems and manufacturing technology environments. Working with leading edge technologies, he has helped create and fulfill visions of next generation systems with industry and corporate leaders from multinational corporations in the commercial and defense aviation, aerospace, wireless and automotive industries.  Mr. Meyer holds a B.A.Sc. from the University of British Columbia and a MBA from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington.

Scott Frank

Vice President of Marketing

Mr. Frank is responsible for Airbiquity’s marketing initiatives and joined the company in 2013. He brings more than 25 years of marketing and management experience working at leading communications, publishing and technology companies such as DMB&B, J. Walter Thompson, Ammirati & Puris, International Data Corporation (IDC), IBM and Microsoft. Mr. Frank has extensive experience developing, deploying and optimizing integrated marketing programs on a global, national and regional scale for both established enterprises and technology start-ups. Mr. Frank received a B.S. in advertising from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.

Justin Saye

Vice President, Global Operations

Mr. Saye is responsible for Airbiquity's global operations, including system operations, multi-tiered service delivery, supply chain and customer support. He brings to Airbiquity 18 years of experience in end-to-end technical service delivery and operational process architecture development for government agencies and Fortune 100 companies. Prior to this position, he served as Vice President, European Fleet Services and established Airbiquity's European office and pan-European service delivery operation. Mr. Saye has held leadership positions with EDS, SRA and Axis Technologies. He has extensive experience in enterprise service delivery and implementing lean process efficiencies across global organizations. He holds a B.S. in Management, Information Systems from California State University and an MBA from Seattle University.

John Tuttle

Vice President, Program Management

Mr. Tuttle is responsible for the execution of contracted programs through the company’s Program Management Office (PMO). Mr. Tuttle first joined the company in 1999 and was responsible for the management of the company’s entry into the automotive market via the integration of aqLink technology into the General Motors OnStar product line. He has over 18 years’ experience in project and program management roles with technology companies successfully delivering products in the automotive and aviation industries to clients including General Motors, Ford Motor Company, Airbus, Embraer and multiple domestic and international airlines. Mr. Tuttle holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University.
