Airbiquity’s aqLink in-band modem technology is a
breakthrough in data communications for mobile devices.
Using the voice channel of any wireless network (UMTS, GSM,
CDMA or AMPS), the modem technology can rapidly and
reliably transport high-value and mission-critical data
during the course of a wireless voice conversation.
aqLink client products consist of a suite of software modems
and associated software framework designed and developed for
rapid integration into various target platforms (e.g.,
wireless devices, telematics control units and M2M modules).
By optimizing and minimizing the processor and memory
footprint, aqLink client products can be cost-effectively
integrated into numerous customer platforms. aqLink products
are delivered as part of an overall framework, which reduces
the dependency on processor and OS services. aqLink provides
a robust application-programming interface (API) for
integration with upper layer application as well a
well-defined audio interface for integration with the
devices audio channel.
This unique, highly scalable, low-impact implementation
requires NO modifications to existing wireless network cell
sites or switching infrastructure to enable an end-to-end
solution. Regional, national, and global enterprise
deployment of new wireless applications and services are
enabled with equal ease using Airbiquity’s aqLink in-band
modem solution.
Airbiquity’s aqLink client products currently support the
following platforms and operating systems. Additional
platforms and operating systems can for supported on a
case-by-case basis.
