aqLink® utilizes the voice
channel of any analog or digital cellular network to
transmit application data between two aqLink® peers. aqLink®
can transmit data in a simplex, half-duplex or full-duplex
fashion through many of the standard vo-coders implemented
in cellular networks. In addition, aqLink’s® patented
technology ensures reliable transmission of payload by
employing state of the art Forward Error Correction (FEC)
and automatic retransmission (ARQ) algorithms.
aqLink® product offerings are based on a client server
architecture, which enables easy integration into client
devices and customer call or data centers. As illustrated in
the figure below, aqLink® functions as a data transport layer
between customer-developed applications and the telephony
network.
