Airbiquity’s core technology is a patented software modem called aqLink®, which enables the delivery of real-time critical data across all wireless voice networks. Using a blank and burst transmission approach, aqLink® utilizes the voice channel of any analog or digital cellular network to transmit application data between two aqLink® peers. aqLink® can transmit data in a simplex, half-duplex and full duplex fashion through the standard vo-coders implemented in cellular phones and networks.
