Kamyar became the company’s president and CEO in 2002 after several years as a senior manager instrumental in developing Airbiquity’s automotive solutions. He has more than 20 years of experience in the wireless industry including senior positions at Netro Corporation, AT&T Wireless Services, and Motorola. He earned a B.S. in computer science from Washington State University.

Before joining Airbiquity in 2008, John was CFO for eMagin Corporation and Click2Learn Inc. Over a 20-year career in finance he has raised more than $200 million in financing and has completed more than $100 million in mergers and acquisitions. He attended the University of Washington where he earned a B.A. in business administration.

With more than 21 years in senior management, business development, sales operations and engineering leadership, David has been instrumental in the growth of the company’s automotive business. His first tenure at Airbiquity was from 1999 to 2002, before he left to start a successful speech recognition company. After its acquisition, he rejoined Airbiquity in 2005 and is responsible for driving sales operations and increasing revenues.

After joining Airbiquity in 1999, John managed the company’s entry into the automotive market via the integration of aqLink technology into the General Motors OnStar product line. Today, he oversees the execution of contracted programs. He has over 18 years’ experience in project and program management, successfully delivering products to clients including General Motors, Ford Motor Company, Airbus, and Embraer. John holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University.

Darren joined Airbiquity in 2009 and has risen through the ranks working out of the European Office where he is currently based. His responsibilities include Airbiquity system operations, service delivery, supply chain, and customer support. He has over 20 years technical experience in IT and held key positions in various roles spanning media, insurance, vehicle telematics, and telecommunications. He has a BSc with honors in Computer Science from UEA.

Jeff joined Airbiquity in 2013 and leads the legal affairs and compliance team, overseeing transactions, licensing, intellectual property, and regulatory matters. Previously, he was general counsel for Varolii Corporation and an attorney at the national law firms of Heller Ehrman, LLP, Cooley LLP and Bogle & Gates LLP. Jeff earned his J.D. from the University of Washington as well as an MBA from San Francisco State University.

Before joining Airbiquity in 2013, Scott worked at leading communications, publishing, and technology companies for more than 25 years including J. Walter Thompson, IDC, IBM and Microsoft. Scott has developed, deployed, and optimized integrated marketing programs on a global, national and regional scale throughout his career. He earned B.S. in advertising from Syracuse University.

Mas joined Airbiquity in 2011 after being a Senior Consultant at Deloitte. He is a result driven Japanese-English bilingual professional with a track record of delivering complex global programs in a fast paced technical environment. He holds a global responsibility of program and account management functions at Airbiquity, and focuses on maintaining and expanding relationships with strategically important customers. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science with concentration in business at Seattle University.

Before joining Airbiquity in 2009, Keefe held various management and engineering positions at Chrysler LLC and has over 20 years of experience in product management, strategy, and engineering in the automotive industry. He is responsible for the company’s product management and product strategy initiatives and has led various teams, including product managers, solution architects, R&D, and UX / UI. He holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California.

Claes brings deep experience in the automotive industry and proven track record of increasing sales and revenue from previous leadership positions at Delphi Automotive, Aptiv, VMware, ZF Group, and Foretellix to name a few. Claes is responsible for leading Airbiquity’s European sales and business development efforts with a focus on establishing new customer relationships and program deployments.
