Airbiquity to Demonstrate Joint Wavecom and Airbiquity Technology at CTIA Wireless I.T.

SEATTLE, Wash. – Today, Airbiquity Inc announced that it will be demonstrating their end-to-end data communication solution jointly developed with Wavecom at the CTIA Wireless I.T. & Entertainment 2007 event at the Moscone Center in San Francisco from October 23 – 25, booth #1315.

The co-developed solution is the result of a global licensing agreement that the companies announced in July of this year. The solution improves upon existing technology offerings by integrating Airbiquity’s aqLink® GSM and CDMA in-band modem software directly into the Wavecom automotive and M2M Wireless CPU® product line, eliminating customers’ costly development time and cutting down overall time to market. Technology based on the combined solution will be available for integration into commercial fleet vehicles and automobiles by the first quarter of 2008.

Customers using a Wavecom Wireless CPU® that integrates Airbiquity’s backend VIAaq™ managed data service will have immediate access to an end-to-end telematics solution.

The demonstrations will take place in the Wavecom booth (#1315) at the Moscone Center. Appointments can be made in advance by sending an e-mail to: contact@ &aairbiquity.com with the subject line, “CTIA Demo.” More information on the CTIA Wireless I.T. event may be found at http://www.ctia.org/.
