Airbiquity’s largest customer, Nissan Motor Corporation, was selected as the 2014 Telematics Update Award winner in the “Industry Newcomer” category for its innovative NissanConnect℠ with Mobile Apps connected car system. Nissan beat out eight other category finalists by garnering 24% of a live audience vote at the close of the annual awards dinner held on June 3rd in Novi, MI. Airbiquity would like to congratulate Nissan for winning this prestigious industry award which recognizes their commitment to connected car innovation and industry leadership.

Choreo also enables Nissan to set policies at the app and content level to keep drivers safe by mitigating driver distraction. The Telematics Update Awards recognize companies committed to driving connected vehicle technology innovation. This year there were 12 award categories covering the breadth of the automotive telematics industry offering an opportunity for businesses, both large and small, to stand-out before their peers, customers, prospects, and partners. Telematics Update received over 400 award submissions and the winners were announced at the annual awards dinner and ceremony on June 3, the evening before the start of the Telematics Detroit 2014 Conference & Exhibition.
