Airbiquity’s Smartphone Integration Solution and Choreo™ Cloud Platform Featured on Nissan Models Worldwide Starting with 2014 Altima
Seattle, WA – November 7, 2013 – Airbiquity, Inc., a global leader in connected vehicle services, today announced the international rollout of the NissanConnect™ Apps service powered by Airbiquity’s Smartphone Integration solution and Choreo™ private cloud platform.
With this launch, Nissan becomes the first automotive brand to globally introduce connected car technology using a single connected vehicle services platform, Airbiquity’s Choreo, providing connected car technology that integrates popular smartphone apps, cloud content and services into the consumer driving experience. By enabling driver smartphone apps and content to be fully integrated into the vehicle displays, switches and voice recognition systems, Nissan leads the way in providing consumers with cutting edge vehicle connectivity and convenience.
The Airbiquity Smartphone Integration solution will be deployed in select Nissan vehicles worldwide beginning in September and October with the 2014 Altima sedan in North America. Regional rollouts will follow for more Nissan models, reaching 50 countries and 32 languages by the end of 2014.
